Michigan’s public universities show nominal gains in student scores

ACT scores of incoming freshmen at Michigan’s 15 public universities changed little since 2001, except at two places: The University of Michigan, where admissions became even more selective, and at Ferris State, where the scores of freshmen in the 75th percentile of last year’s incoming class were 5 points higher than those of their peers in 2001. Toggle on the schools to see how average composite scores for incoming freshmen have risen, or not, since 2001.

Compare: UM-Ann Arbor, Michigan State, Michigan Tech, Wayne State, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, Oakland University, Eastern Michigan, Northern Michigan, Lake Superior, Grand Valley, Saginaw Valley, Ferris State or UM-Flint and UM-Dearborn.
