Turning reflection into action this holiday season

  • Bridge Michigan’s year-end fundraising campaign has begun
  • We have a goal of raising $200,000 during the campaign to support our nonprofit newsroom’s journalism in 2025
  • Make your tax-deductible donation to Bridge Michigan below

This time of year always has us in reflection mode. Our team accomplished a lot in 2024, including:

  • Preparing every Michigan resident to vote in myriad ways, including our Michigan Voter Guide, our in-depth mood of Michigan stories from regions across the state, our live Elections FAQ events and our continually-updated Elections Tracker
  • Welcoming several new members of our team, including executive editor of innovation Kathy Kieliszewski, deputy editor Leslie Allen, Capitol reporters Jordyn Hermani and Simon Schuster and revenue development specialist Emma Carr
  • Launching our new app, giving Bridge Michigan readers access to our stories at their fingertips
  • Digging deep into some of Michigan’s most challenging issues, including the state’s readiness for the global transition to electric vehicles and the expenditure of the state’s opioid settlement dollars
  • Engaging with readers from across the state and country in dozens of free, live engagement events, including Bridge Lunch Breaks, Bridge Culture Club and Election FAQs

None of that work could have happened without people like you following along with us, because we aren’t doing our job if we aren’t providing high-quality, nonpartisan news and engagement opportunities that make Michigan a better place.  I’m asking today for you to take the next step in supporting our work.
