Opinion | Poll workers are the heroes of Michigan’s elections

Poll workers are critical to maintaining the integrity of our elections — and we need people working the polls more than ever before.  

It can be easy to feel like a small cog in a vast machine, but each person who shows up to work the polls plays an indispensable role in ensuring that every vote counts. Our democracy hinges on the dedication and integrity of ordinary citizens who step up to facilitate the voting process.
