The 10th District is centered on Macomb County. It leans Republican and features what could be a compelling race.

Thee new 9th Congressional District covers Michigan’s Thumb and extends into northern Macomb County. It is solidly Republican.

Attorney General Dana Nessel and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson have millions of dollars in the bank. Their lesser-known rivals, Matthew DePerno and Kristina Karamo, have few funds left and not much time until Election Day.

The new 8th Congressional District is more competitive politically, with President Joe Biden beating Donald Trump by 2 points in 2020. The district could be a tougher test for incumbent Dan Kildee.

The central Michigan race is considered one of the most competitive in the state.

The new 6th Congressional District connects Ann Arbor and the rest of Washtenaw County with portions of western Wayne County and most of the city of Novi in Oakland County. It is solidly Democratic.

The new 5th Congressional District stretches along the entirety of Michigan’s southern border and is considered safely Republican.

The new district is solidly Republican, but Rep. Bill Huizenga does face a Democratic challenger.

The west Michigan district is considered a tossup race, as a former Trump appointee faces off against a moderate Democrat.

Incumbent U.S. Rep. John Moolenaar, R-Midland, is seeking a fifth term in a redrawn district that shifted west, but retained its conservative leanings.
