State Income TaxHistoric Preservation Credit $1,045,000 Provided a credit against qualified expenditures made to rehabilitate a historic resource. The rehabilitation plan must have been certified by the Michigan Historical Center. No new credits have been awarded since the program ceased in January, 2012. Previously awarded credits are still being honored.

In some cases, the state does not estimate the value of a tax break, leaving the tax break value empty in its tables.
