Before joining the Center, she spent a decade co-founding and leading Detroit-based organizations focused on creating employment and workforce opportunities for women — including a social enterprise she grew from concept to a nationally recognized brand. She grew up in Madison Heights and has fond childhood memories of her family’s one-room log cabin in Sterling. She now lives in Detroit with her husband, daughter and two dogs.
