The Bridge Michigan Issues Summit will be free and open to the public and streamed statewide, reaching civic leaders and engaged voters across Michigan. The Summit will examine the top issues shaping Michigan’s future — informed by reader and voter input from across the state. Expert panels, moderated by Bridge Michigan reporters, will draw on a year of reporting and listening across the state.

Four conversations. One day.

  • Education and the workforce pipeline — What happens to Michigan’s workforce if the state can’t get K-12 right?
  • Health care affordability — Why costs keep rising, and what it means for Michiganders’ wallets.
  • Housing, wages and affordability — Political promises versus pocketbook realities.
  • Energy, data centers and water — Balancing Michigan’s high-tech ambitions with the limits of its infrastructure and natural resources.

Plus: Conversations about Michigan’s US Senate and gubernatorial races

The Summit is intended to provide a public, nonpartisan forum for understanding key issues, surfacing unanswered questions, and helping voters make sense of the choices before them.
