Bridge Michigan asked readers to help us create the ultimate Michigan Dreaming Bucket List, including some of the state’s best-kept secrets. 

Readers pointed us to well over 100 gems all over our beautiful state before we narrowed it down to just 10. 

Outdoors Life reporter Laura Herberg then spent her summer living a Michigan tourist’s dream. She rode the dunes at Silver Lake, cheered all night for the paddlers of the Au Sable River Canoe Marathon from Grayling to Oscoda, climbed to the top of the Copper Peak Ski Jump in Ironwood, visited the monks at the Jampot in Eagle Harbor and sailed on a tall ship near Traverse City.

Now, we want to know: What Michigan bucket list items have you done? 

We expanded the list to include other reader suggestions, with a few editors’ picks added in for good measure.
